Considered
to be Kenya’s finest wildlife area, the open rolling savannah
grassland of the Mara is home to the proud Maasai people who continue to
lead their traditional pastoral way of life, living with their cattle
on the plains. The Maasai Mara is renowned for its numerous wildlife species
including elephant, rhino, lion, cheetah, hyena, jackal, buffalo, eland,
topi, impala, gazelle, warthog and zebra.
This safari includes light aircraft flights from Nairobi and game drives
by 4-wheel drive safari vehicle. Accommodation is in a luxury tented safari camp: Mara Safari
Club, Kichwa Tembo, Siana Springs or Fig Tree Camp.
We particularly recommend these camps which have character and
real safari atmosphere, but all the comforts of a hotel including
private en-suite bathrooms, bar, restaurant and swimming pool.
