Savannah Camps and Lodges are a group of small safari camps located in
some of Kenya’s most fascinating ecosystems. These tented lodges offer a good blend of first class comfort and
modern conveniences (en-suite bathrooms, flush toilets, electric light,
comfortable bedroom furnishings, laundry service) without being
'over
the top' but with the old 'Out of Africa' style camping safari
atmosphere.
The Savannah camps are for those who prefer to avoid the large
tourist hotels where you see more tourists than wildlife and they are
ideal if you require a more personalised service. Your walks and game drives will be conducted by experienced,
enthusiastic and trained wardens or guides.

placed for easy access to the outer grazing areas where species such as
cheetah take advantage of conditions created by Maasai cattle and grass
fires which produce the short grass plains favoured by the gazelles on
which the big cats prey. Resident
ornithologists are available for informative nature walks around
the camp area and being of Maasai origin they can give a fascinating
insight into Maasai traditions and culture.
From the camp game drives are taken to see the huge variety of
wildlife species for which the Mara is renowned.
DAY 10.
Fly back to Nairobi to take the Kenya Airways flight to Mombasa
and transfer to the beach hotel of your choice for 6 nights.
